Ada Mukhína

Ada Mukhína is a nomadic theatre director, author, and performer. She was born in 1988 in Leningrad, Soviet Union (now – St. Petersburg, Russia), lives in Berlin, and works internationally. Her recent political, participatory, and investigative works, Risk Lab, How to Sell Yourself To the West, and Exile Promenade, have been presented at the Berliner Festspiele, the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the Akademie der Künste (Academy of Arts) in Berlin, Staatstheater Mainz, Deutschlandfunk, at the Camden People’s Theatre in London, and in the Laboratory for Global Performance and Politics in Washington, DC. She has been awarded a German Chancellor Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and a Berlin Fellowship from the Akademie der Künste (Academy of Arts) in Berlin.
