Cia. Nadine Gerspache
Six grieving women, a hunchbacked servant, a hermetically darkened house of mourning: this is the source of the poetic and expressive power of the dance theatre piece DAS INNERE
BEBEN by Nadine Gerspacher. A powerful, acrobatic, sometimes tragicomic, sometimes surreal and dreamlike series of scenes, in which expressive solos and complex group choreographies follow one another in powerful images. A celebration of pain, community and life. Gloomy, but not depressive. Melancholic, but lively. Following the logic of a dream, pent-up emotions break free, causing the bodies to writhe, shake, whirl, tap and tumble – to a soundtrack of enchanting dance music and unrestrained expressions of emotion.
