Lulu Obermayer (1989* Munich) works with performance, opera, theater and choreography. She interweaves facts and anecdotes from theater history and performs female positions. In doing so, she poses fundamental questions about agency and representability on stage. She uses the European canon as a point of friction to uncover hidden potential in stage characters and transform dominant narrative strands.
