Marlene Reiter

During her school education, Marlene Reiter was a member of the Junge Burg at the Burgtheater Vienna and the Junges Ensemble Hörbiger. After graduating from high school, she began studying comparative literature at the University of Vienna, which she dropped out of to study acting at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music and Theater. As part of her training, she was engaged at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden acting studio for two years from the 2019/2020 season. In 2021/2022 she was a member of the ensemble at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. During this time, she met directors such as Tom Kühnel, Jan Gehler, Mina Salehpour, Daniela Löffner and Volker Lösch, in whose production “Tartuffe oder Kapital und Ideologie” she took part. In search of opportunities to work differently in the theater, she then began studying theater directing at the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg”. Marlene Reiter lives in Hamburg.
