Cosmic Radio Show
The live radio show in front of an audience starts its third season with a show on solidarity. Guests will be trade unionist Anna Katrin Große-Schulte and musician Morlokk Dilemma. As always, the evening will be musically accompanied by the Cosmic Radio Show Band under the direction of Max Braun. Aliki Schäfer and Andreas Vogel lead the evening.
The idea of solidarity is receiving renewed attention in the context of economic, ecological, and social (international) crises. What is solidarity anyway, and how can acting in solidarity change our society? The show will examine and discuss what solidarity means for each individual today and whether, for example, international solidarity is really the tenderness of people, as it used to be on demonstration posters. The aim of the radio broadcast in front of an audience is to enter into conversation with each other, to discuss connections and interactions, and to experience and question music that deals with the concept in terms of content and form.
In October 2023, Anna Katrin Große-Schulte hands over her mandate as a works council member at the Daimler plant in Rastatt after 17 years. She will return to work on the assembly line and will continue her trade union function as a shop steward. She aims to work with others for more justice and solidarity in society. Anna Katrin Große-Schulte is committed to fighting right-wing extremism and is a declared anti-fascist.
Morlokk Dilemma grew up in the large housing estate Grünau in Leipzig. He is undoubtly one of the most famous German underground rappers – battle rap for advanced – more punchlines, more rhyme chains, more beatbreaks – a breathless trip through nocturnal metropolises between omnipotence and impotence, champagne mood and hangover breakfast, penthouse and gutter.
