R&B – HIP HOP SOUL OF THE 1990S AND 2000S

At the first RAMPE event of the new season, the montage group will be dealing with a pop music style that, in its reception in this country, was not hard enough for some, not smart enough or not German enough for others: the R&B of the 1990s and the 2000s. What is this music, which developed from contemporary R&B and New Jack Swing in the late 1980s, all about? Who are or were the protagonists?
