Milo Rau

The Swiss Milo Rau, born in 1977, is a director and author, was artistic director of NTGent (Belgium) from 2018-2023 and has been artistic director of the Wiener Festwochen since 2023. Since 2002, he has published over 50 theatre plays, films, books and actions. His productions have been shown at all major international festivals and have already toured over 30 countries worldwide. Rau has received many awards, including the prestigious ITI Prize of the World Theatre Day in 2016 and the Peter Weiss Prize in 2017.
