CALL FOR CARPETS
Im Rahmen unseres Residenzprogramms im Theater Rampe sucht die Künstlerin und Forscherin Kathleen Bomani nach Wohn- oder Bürohäusern in Stuttgart, in denen Sisalteppiche liegen. Sie sind oft in Treppenhäusern zu finden, manchmal aber auch als Wandteppiche.
Wir wenden uns an euch, um ihr Sisal-Forschungsprojekt zu unterstützen. Kathleen bittet euch, ihr Fotos von Sisalteppichen oder Treppenhäusern an die unten angegebene E-Mail-Adresse zu schicken oder ihr es zu ermöglichen, Fotos von Treppenhäusern, Teppichen oder anderen Orten zu machen, an denen Sisal als Boden- oder Wandschutz/-dekoration verwendet wurde. As part of our residency program at Theater Rampe, resident artist, and researcher Kathleen is searching for residential or commercial buildings in Stuttgart that have Sisal carpets, which are often found in stairwells but can sometimes be found as wall-to-wall carpeting. We are contacting our community to help her sisal research project by reporting any sighting of this plant fiber material. Kathleen is asking that you send in photos of the sisal carpets or staircases to the email address provided below or grant her access to take photos of the stairwells, the carpets, or other places in which you see sisal being used as floor or wall protection/decoration.
